Taking inspiration from various Disney & Pixar movies that have used this concept for various feature films we wanted to use this idea and implement to actual everyday products and give them personality in an attempt to make them invoke an emotion upon interaction.

Air purifiers are a really static object. We wanted to bring it to life by giving it living features like breathability.

Often in nature in form mimics function much like the walnut is said to be good for the brain and the kidney bean for its namesake. With Salubri we attempt to embody that principle by bringing motion to a conventionally static object to mimic breathing and imbue it with life.  Taking elements from Anthony Howe’s kinetic sculptures we attempt embody the action of breathing and personify the function of taking in impure air and giving out pure air.
